Under the banner "Tijuana is the Future," Tijuana Innovadora 2020 will be held online and free of charge. As a part of this event, six panel discussions will be presented addressing the challenges facing the Tijuana-San Diego region: Future Vision 2040, inspired by the book El Tercer País: San Diego & Tijuana by Michael S. Malone, one of the world’s most recognized technology writers.

Jose Galicot Behar, president and founder of Tijuana Innovadora, noted that our region is growing at an accelerated pace, and it is necessary to know the new challenges we face and how technology can be the key to meeting them

“We are going to have top level guests on the fifth day of activities, such as Pedro Ochoa, Baja California’s Secretary of Culture with more than 30 years of experience as a cultural promoter; chef Javier Plascencia; and Martha Gilmer, director of the San Diego Symphony Orchestra”;.

He indicated that Judy Gradwohl, president of the San Diego Natural History Museum will also be participating, and James Clark, founder of California/Bajio Associate, will be the moderator of this panel.

Finally, José Galicot invited people from both sides of the border to keep an eye out for this panel on Saturday, October 10, at 1:00 p.m., accessible at no cost through www.tijuanaeselfuturo.org
