Under the banner Tijuana is the Future, Tijuana Innovadora 2020 will be held online and free of charge. As a part of this event, six panel discussions will be presented addressing the challenges facing the Tijuana-San Diego region: Future Vision 2040, inspired by the book El Tercer País, San Diego and Tijuana by Michael S. Malone, one of the world’s most recognized technology writers.

Jose Galicot Behar, president and founder of Tijuana Innovadora, noted that our region is growing at an accelerated pace, and it is necessary to know the new challenges we face and how technology can be the key to meeting them.

“We are going to have first class guests on the fourth day of activities, including Roberta Jacobson, former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico with more than 30 years of diplomatic experience, as well as Arturo Sarukhan, former Mexican Ambassador to the United States and international consultant; Andrew Selee, president of the Migration Policy Institute, author of several books and university professor, will also be participate, and the moderator will be Gastón Luken, Director of Institutional Relations of Grupo Coppel”.
